Russian President awarded participants of search and lift operation of A-320 Airbus

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order for awarding participants of an operation carried out last May during searching and lifting the crushed "Armavia" A-320 Airbus of Armenian Air Company. The order, which is placed on the web-site of the Kremlin, says, "for high professionalism and skilful actions during the search and lift operation of the crushed A-320 Airbus of "Armavia" Armenian air company near Sochi last May Captain Andrei Mamonov is warded with Honor Order. Head of Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport Alexander Davidenko, captain of Sochi port Vladimir Derkunov, head of Novorossisk port administration Vladimir Erygin and Head of Novorossisk Sea Rescue Department Andrei Khaustov are awarded with second degree medal "For Services in front of the Homeland". A-320 Airbus of "Armavia" Armenian air company, which was flying from Yerevan to Sochi, crushed in the Black Sea near the Adler airport in the night of May 3, 2006.
