EU intends to influence on Ankara for normalization of relations with Armenia?

PanARMENIAN.Net - The shift in the Turkish government is a good opportunity to open a political dialogue between Armenia and Turkey, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Mr Peter Semneby told a news conference September 28.

"As EU's partner states, Armenia and Turkey are of equal importance for the European Union. This fact may be viewed in the context of our possible influence for the establishment of a political dialogue between Yerevan and Ankara. I am hopeful that the shift in the Turkish government is a good opportunity for improvement of bilateral relations," he said, IA Regnum reports.
