Bush: Congress shouldn't give definitions to historical events in Ottoman Empire

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yesterday, U.S. President George Bush called on Congressmen not to pass the Armenian Genocide resolution. "Congress shouldn't give definitions to historical events in the Ottoman Empire. It has much more important tasks to do than inciting hatred between the U.S. and its Muslim democratic ally, which day by day renders vital assistance to our troops," Bush said describing the H.Res.106 as "non-constructive," RFE/RL reports.
