Protestants in Azeri army will not fight against Armenians?

PanARMENIAN.Net - If there are Protestants in the Azeri army, they will not fight against Armenians in case of war, rector of the Islamic University Haji Sabir Hasanli said at Press and Religion conference in Baku. Protestants think it inadmissible to be at war and will not join armed struggle against Christians. Azerbaijan's military system should take this fact into account, he added.

In his opinion, the problem of Wahhabism is exaggerated by the media. "Presently, hundreds of young men are under the influence of Wahhabism and Protestantism in Azerbaijan. However, as compared to the previous years there is no religious menace. Wahhabism is not a sect but a political trend. It was never bound with religious," he said, Trend news agency reports.
