Russia will work for soonest resolution of Karabakh conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia will do everything in its power for soonest settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, said Andrey Denisov, First Deputy to Russia's Foreign Minister.



"Russia does everything possible to reconcile Armenia and Azerbaijan. Resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict depends on the sides. There will no easy or forcible solutions but we all know that existence of unsettled conflicts in the CIS hampers cooperation. No important events are held in the Armenia and Azerbaijani capitals in order to avoid problems," the Russian official said, ITAR-TASS reports.

Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive.
