CSTO to work for Eurasian Shengen Zone in 2008

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Collective Security Treaty Organization will elaborate a plan of so-called Eurasian Shengen Zone in 2008, CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha said.



"The purpose of the 'Eurasian Shengen' is unobstructed travel as well as commodity and service turnover within the CSTO and EurAsEC territory," he said.



Presently, the CSTO brings together Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the Russian News Service reports.
