U.S. Senate to support Georgia for NATO

PanARMENIAN.Net - The U.S. Senate will pass a statement to support Georgia and Ukraine's aspiration for NATO, Georgia's Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze said in Tbilisi airport upon arrival from the Munich security conference.



"President Saakashvili and Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried discussed the issue during a meeting. We have enlisted support of the United States," he said, adding that the officials also referred to Georgian-American and Georgian-Russian relations, Trend reports.
