Artur Baghdassaryan accepted post of RA National Security Council Secretary

PanARMENIAN.Net - The leader of Orinats Yerkir opposition party, Artur Baghdassaryan signed an agreement on political cooperation with the Armenian ruling coalition, OY spokesperson Susan Abrahamyan said Friday.



At the moment, Artur Baghdassrayan is in the government premises holding talks with Prime Minister and President-elect Serzh Sargsyan.



"We accepted Serzh Sargsyan's proposal to join the coalition agreement which supposed the post of Secretary of National Security Council for Artur Baghdassaryan," she said, adding that no other posts for OY party members were offered, Novosti Armenia reports.



Presently, the NSC is chaired by Armen Gevorgyan, head of the RA presidential administration.
