Karabakh settlement Armenia's foreign policy priorityApril 19, 2008 - 16:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 18, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with NKR President Bako Sahakian in Stepanakert.Congratulating Mr Nalbandian on appointment, the NKR President made special mention of the fact that he paid his first visit to Artsakh. For his part, Minister Nalbandian said that resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is a priority for Armenia's foreign policy. The parties discussed the Karabakh peaceful process and the Armenia-NKR cooperation, the RA MFA press office reported. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
