  EU: Karabakh talks should be continued in compliance with basic principlesJuly 31, 2008 - 23:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - EU Envoy for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to discuss the ways of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. "We discussed the meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers due in Moscow on August 1 and concluded that the talks should be continued in compliance with the basic principles," Mr Semneby told reporters, Trend Azeri news agency reports. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive.
