Turkey hopes Karabakh conflict sides will reach agreement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey supports the OSCE Minsk Group activities for resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said.



Turkey's possible accession to the EU won't influence the settlement process, according to him.



Babacan also reminded about the Sargsyan-Aliyev meeting in Saint Petersburg.



"Democratic changes in the region, events taken place during the past years should be taken into account. We support the process in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Groups and hope that the sides will reach agreement," the Turkish Minister said, Radikal Turkish newspaper reports.
