Ahmadinejad invites RA President to Iran

PanARMENIAN.Net - Currently in Tehran, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Tuesday with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to discuss the recent regional developments.



Minister Nalbandian thanked President Ahmadinejad for assistance in transportation of Armenian cargo through Iran during the Georgian crisis.



Expressing satisfaction with the effective economic ties and implementation of joint programs, the sides agreed to encourage close cooperation.



The Iranian President said he will be glad to welcome Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan in Tehran.
