Breakthrough in Karabakh process unlikely in near future

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey has been leading efforts to initiate talks on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and the three-way talks are a first step in this direction, a Turkish expert said.



A breakthrough is unlikely to emerge in the short term, given the approaching elections in Azerbaijan and the fact that Armenia would not take any radical step without the blessing of Russia, said Yildiz Deveci Bozkus, expert at the Ankara-based Center for Eurasian Strategic Studies (ASAM), Today's Zaman reports.
