PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran is hopeful that Armenia and Azerbaijan will have their say about Iran's proposal for mediation in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process in the near future.

"Iran is one of the countries of the region. So, it offered to mediate tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia for soonest resolution of the Karabakh conflict," said Nasir Hamidi Zare, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

"Iran will do everything in its power for establishment of normal relations between the countries of the region," he added, the Azeri Press Agency reports.
