Turkey to facilitate resolution of frozen conflicts

PanARMENIAN.Net - Elected a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, Turkey will facilitate resolution of frozen conflicts in the region, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan said.



"Turkey intends to promote implementation of 4 UN resolutions on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict for its peaceful resolution," Hulusi Kilic said, Trend Azeri news agency reports.



On October 17, Turkey was elected by the 192-member UN General Assembly as the non-permanent members of the Security Council for a two-year term beginning January 1, 2009.
