"Europe needs Armenia and we are ready to assist you to get closer to the EU," Valdas Adamkus said during a meeting with visiting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. The two discussed bilateral relations and voiced hope for their future development. After Minister Nalbandian briefed on the Armenian-Turkish relations and Karabakh talks, the Lithuanian President echoed that all problems should be resolved on the basis of the international law, The Lithuanian Courier reports. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
