Any CSTO country has the right to cooperate with any alliance

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Collective Security Treaty Organization doesn't have an agreement on cooperation with NATO yet. Nevertheless, any CSTO member country has the right to cooperate with any alliance, CSTO Deputy Secretary-General Toksatyn Buzubayev told a news conference today.

"Russia, like Armenia, has a partnership plan with NATO. So, Armenia can launch joint programs with the Alliance if it doesn't conflict with the CSTO Charter," he said.

A member of the CSTO, Armenia cooperates with NATO in the framework of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).
