Armenian internet provider to be sold in near future

PanARMENIAN.Net - The United Telecommunication Company is interested in purchasing Railway Telecom, the owner of the optic-fiber networking in Georgia, whose cost is reported not to exceed 12 million lari ($7,180 mln.)



Railway Telecom is likely to be sold at an auction in the near future.



The company was founded in 2004. It owns the optic-fiber cable covering the major part of the Georgian territory. Its clients are banks and business companies. It's also Armenia's major internet provider, Business Georgia reports.
