Eastern Partnership opens new ways for closer ties with EU

PanARMENIAN.Net - Currently in Prague, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Czech Senate President Premysl Sobotka.



Expressing satisfaction with the level of cooperation between the Armenian and Czech parliaments, Mr. Sobotka said that the upcoming visit of the RA NA Speaker to the Czech Republic will convey a new impulse to the dynamically developing bilateral relations.



In discussing the Armenia-EU cooperation, the officials said that the Eastern Partnership initiative opens new ways to establish closer ties with EU.



Minister Nalbandian thanked the Czech Senate for organization of an event in commemoration of the 1988 earthquake victims, the RA MFA press office reported.
