Armenia, Syria agree to simplify visa system for diplomats

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbanidan met Thursday with his Syrian counterpart Walid al-Moallem to discuss bilateral relations, cooperation within international structures and possibilities to strengthen stability in the South Caucasus and Middle East.



The Ministers also agreed to simplify visa system for diplomats and provide Armenian Embassy with new premises in the Syrian capital.



During the visit, Minister Nalbandian also met with representatives of Armenian organizations in Damascus and with the head of the AAC Syrian Diocese, the RA MFA press office reported.
