Turkish MPs: border with Armenia will be opened after municipal elections

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian-Turkish border will be opened after the municipal elections in Turkey, AKP members said in Washington.



According to MHP member Sukru Elekdag, the promise was hasty. "I warned them against giving promises but they said they will come to an agreement," he said.



For her part, MP Nursuna Memecan said that "the talks have going on for a year already and now are in at the finish."



Turkey will hold municipal election on March 29.
