Police offers accused of Armenian citizen murder to stand trial

PanARMENIAN.Net - The investigation into the murder of Armenian citizen Armen Gasparyan has been completed in Saratov, Russia.



The case was transferred to the prosecutor's office last week. All three are incriminated a murder committed with extreme atrocity (compelling confession from Armen Gasparyan, the police officers beat him to death and burned) and abuse of authority. They may face a life sentence, Kommersant reported.



The police officers were arrested on October 31, 2008. They confessed being drunk.
