Solana supported Turkey's EU bid

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the threshold of U.S. President Barack Obama's visit to Turkey, EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana voiced support to Turkey's accession bid.



"I do not see obstacles to Turkey's accession to the Union," Mr. Solana said.



Nevertheless, he called for a "pause" to let Lisbon treaty come into effect.
