National communities of Germany call on Obama to recognize Armenian Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - Representatives of Armenian, Greek, Syrian (Aramean) and Kurdish communities sent an open letter to U.S. President Barack Obama, calling on him to recognize the Armenian Genocide and urge Turkey to return Mor Gabriel Monastery to its real owner, the Aramean Syrian Orthodox Church.

"We are deeply concerned over Turkey's attempt to erase Christian heritage in the country. Arameans, Greeks and Yezids are subjected to persecution. Turkish nationalism is targeted against all non-Islamic communities," says the letter obtained by PanARMENIAN.Net
