Military mutiny averted in Georgia?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Military revolt in Georgia has been averted and its organizers - former high ranking officials of Defense Ministry, are under arrest, Shota Utashvili Head of Information-Analytical department of Georgian Interior Ministry told a news conference today. According to him, mutiny had broken out "to disrupt NATO exercises or stage a military coup". It seems coordinated with Russia, the Georgian official noted.



According to Utashvili, Georgiy Gvaladze, former Head a special forces group called Delta, was caught red-handed and former National Guard Commander Koba Otanadze and Head of Tbilisi Military Headquarters Zaza Mushudiani are under investigation.



Besides, Georgian Home Ministry disseminated the police video record in which Gvaladze and Otanadze discussed plans for mutiny.
