Armenian 12th century khachkar exhibited in Metropolitan Museum

PanARMENIAN.Net - A 12th century Armenian khachkar was exhibited at Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, on June 8. The khachkar was extended to the Museum by the Armenian government for a 5-year team.

The khachkar was brought from Geghard to New York in 1994. Presently, due to repair works in the UN headquarters, it was transported to a safer place. The agreement was achieved during RA President Serzh Sargsyan's visit to New York last year.
