Yerevan hosted 15th International Sambo Tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 12-14 Yerevan hosted 15th International Sambo Tournament in memory of first Armenian World Champion Gagik Hovhannisyan.



Over 100 RA and NKR sportsmen participated. 52 medals were awarded to youth sambo wrestlers in 10 weight categories and adult wrestlers in 3 categories.



Thus, youth tournament winners are: Hovhannes Mkhoyan (weight category 48 kg), Arthur Sahakyan (weight category 52 kg), Arsen Antonyan (weight category 56 kg), Karen Tonoyan (weight category 60 kg), Andranik Nikoyan (weight category 65 kg), Sargis Sargsyan (weight category 70 kg), Mher Karapetyan (weight category 75 kg), Araik Karapetyan (weight category 81 kg), Sergey Shirinyan (weight category 87 kg), Artavazd Minasyan (weight category +87 kg). Adult tournament winners are: Karen Tonoyan (weight category 57 kg), Magan Vardanyan (weight category 62 kg) and Artavazd Minasyan (weight category 68 kg).
