Order of Honor to Georgian President only for political purpose

PanARMENIAN.Net - The awarding of the Georgian President with Order of Honor by Armenian authorities had just political reasons expert on Armenian-Georgian relations Aykazun Alvrtsyan, told a press conference in Yerevan.



By doing so the Armenian authorities have displayed a start of new level of relationships between Armenia and Georgia, he said. According t him, the award symbolizes an exchange of courtesies by the two states. "I do not approve it and I believe that authorities have committed a big political mistake. The President of Georgia hasn't deserved this award and on the contrary, all the time, the president of Georgia only harmed Armenia," Mr. Alvrtsyan said.



According to him, Armenian authorities have been naive to trust a person who is not trusted by its own country. There is a long way to go to establish good relations between the two countries, he said.
