Serzh Sargsyan congratulates U.S. diplomatic corps in Armenia on Independence Day

PanARMENIAN.Net - In connection with the U.S. Independence Day, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan and congratulated the diplomatic corps on this occasion. "Armenia is interested in further strengthening of the Armenian-American relations. For Armenia the United States is a country that has extended a helping hand to the Armenian people at a critical time, accepting many Armenians and enabling them to contribute to the prosperity of the United States, "Serge Sargsyan said.



During the meeting, of the Armenian president with the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie L. Yovanovitch, the readiness of the parties to develop the Armenian-American relations was stressed. The American diplomat shared her impressions from recently held meetings with representatives of the US Armenian community. The two sides stressed that the Armenian community in America is the bridge between Armenia and the United States. Serzh Sargsyan and Marie L.
