Imports exceeded exports by 4 times in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Export volume decreased by 45.9% to comprise AMD 98.9 billion in January-June 2009 in Armenia. In January-June 2009 imports decreased by 27,5% to comprise AMD 479.9, compared with 2008 results.



According to RA National Statistical Service-provided data, foreign-trade turnover comprised AMD 578.8 in January-June 2009, decreasing by 31,5% compared with 2008 results.



Foreign-trade balance deficit comprised AMD 381 billion in January-June 2009.
