The operation was performed in the framework of "Live Proudly" program carried out by the Yerevan Center of Reconstruction and Extremity Lengthening under the aegis of Armenia's first lady Rita Sargsyan. Surgeon Arshak Mirzoyan says the operation was successful and Liana will walk freely soon. Presently, South Caucasus Railways is selecting patients who need help.
