Edward Kennedy was US Senator since 1962. He was Chair of Senate Committee on Health and Education. Edward's eldest brother - US President John Kennedy - was assassinated in Dallas on November 22, 1963. Middle brother - Senator and Justice Secretary Robert Kennedy - was murdered in 1968 during presidential campaign.
