OSCE welcomes joint statement of Armenia and Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - OSCE chairman, Foreign Minister of Greece Dora Bakoyannis greeted the joint statement of Yerevan and Ankara to begin talks on normalizing bilateral relations. According to the release of the OSCE Office in Yerevan received by PanARMENIAN.Net Dora Bakoyannis noted that the development in Armenian-Turkish relations will contribute to stability in the South Caucasus. "The establishment of diplomatic relations will become a positive step not only for the region. I welcome this step, aimed at normalizing relations between OSCE member states, " the OSCE chairman said. Dora Bakoyannis called on Yerevan and Ankara to take the opportunity achieved in the negotiations under the auspices of Switzerland.
