Eduard Hambartsumyan is defeated by Turkish boxer at Milan World Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Eduard Hambartsumyan of Armenia, (64 kg) was defeated by Turkish boxer Onur Sipal at 1/16 finals of Milan World Championship.



3 our of 6 Armenian boxers have dropped out of World Championship at 1/16 finals. Derenik Gijlaryan (51 kg) and Hrachik Javakhyan (60 kg) were beaten by their opponents, as well as Samvel Matevosyan (69 kg) and Tsolak Ananikyan.



Thus, 5 out of 9 Armenian boxers have dropped out of World Championship in Milan.



On September 5, Hovhannes Danielyan (weight category 48 kg), Andranik Hakobyan (75 kg) and Garnik Harutyunyan (54 kg) will get into the ring. Hovhannes Danielyan will have his first combat, fighting against Harry Tanamor of Philippines.



On September 6, Azat Hovhannesyan (57 kg) will fight against Jhitis Vaitkus of Lithuania in 1/16 finals.
