Day of Armenian Culture organized in Kharkov

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian community of Kharkov and national university after Karazin organized Days of Armenian Culture on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day and the 10th anniversary of community foundation.



Celebrations began with meetings between Armenian community members and university leadership. Armenica foundation was opened in the Central Library after Karazin. Unprecedented in terms of their significance, cultural events were followed by a round table with participation of outstanding personalities from Ukraine and Armenia, Analitika.at.ua reports.



On behalf of Ministries of Diaspora, Education and Culture, Tamara Poghosyan handed acknowledgement awards to Kharkov National Community's management board members. David Davtyan, expert at Analitika.at.ua, was granted Armenian Community's acknowledgement award for his contribution to Armenian Genocide studies.
