Gabriel Sargsyan and Tigran Petrosyan to take part in World Chess Cup tournament matches

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmasters and Olympic champions Gabriel Sargsyan and Tigran L. Petrosyan will take part in World Chess Cup tournament matches due in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, on November 20-December 15.



Tournament will bring together 128 chess players who will fight not only world World Cup title but also for the only waybill for World Crown competitions.



World Chess Cup tournament will be organized in knockout format, starting from the 1/64 final.



Time control: 1.5 hour for 40 moves and 30 minutes till the match end; additional time: 30 seconds for each move.
