Armenians do not yet have all-national concept on achieving Genocide recognition

PanARMENIAN.Net - International recognition of Armenian Genocide has become a subject of speculations for certain forces and organizations in Armenia, Genocide Museum Director Hayk Demoyan told a news conference in Yerevan. "Forces which seek to achieve genocide recognition have not applied to museum for cooperation over the past 3 years since I was Director," he said.

Demoyan believes Armenians do not yet have all-national concept on international recognition of Armenian Genocide. "It is necessary to understand that Genocide recognition issue was enshrined in international instruments long ago. The recognition of the fact is the aftermath of political processes vs. the result of Armenian organization's work. That is first all a method of exerting pressure upon Turkey," Genocide Museum Director said.
