Arpi Vartanian: Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide sooner or later

PanARMENIAN.Net - Regional Director of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh Arpi Vartanian is confident that the Protocols on normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations cannot prevent international recognition of the Armenian Genocide .



According to her, the Armenian Genocide is gradually becomes a matter of discussion in the Turkish society. "No one in the world but Turkey deny the fact of the Genocide. I am confident that the general trends will lead to the situation when Turkey sooner or later recognize the Armenian Genocide, " Arpi Vartanian told a news conference in Yerevan today. 



"We continue to make efforts aimed at adoption of 252-nd resolution on the Armenian Genocide in the U.S. Congress. This work continues and 132 congressmen have already joined to the resolution, " Arpi Vartanian said.
