Armenian junior team crucially defeated by Isreal in EC qualification match

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's junior soccer team (below age 17) suffered failure in European Cup qualification matches taking place in Poland. Sportsmen coached by Suren Chakhalyan were crucially defeated by Isreal 1:6.



More goals were registered in the second half. During the 52nd and 71st minutes, Arad Elbaz and Nissim Genish increased the difference. Two other goals were scored during the 75th and 77th minutes by Kfir Izenshtein and Khaitam Halabi respectively.



In another 4th group match, hosting team was beat by Austrians 2:4.



Thus, after the first round of group matches, Armenian national team appeared in final position of tournament table with 6 missed goals. Polish team which gained no points was in the third position.



On October 11, Armenian players will meet with Polish sportsmen, whereas Israeli team will compete against Austrians.
