Armenian tae kwon do athletes to participate in Denmark World Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian tae kwon do athletes Arman Yeremyan (w/c 78 kg.) and Aram Sahakyan (w/c 87 kg.) will leave for Copenhagen, Denmark under the supervision of chief coach Gevorg Danielyan and Iranian specialist Rakhim Samekhi to participate in World Championship due on October 14-18. Both sportsmen will fight for gold medal, Armenian Tae Kwon Do Federation's Vice President Vardan Kagramanyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.



«We haven't won gold medal in international championships since 2002. Our sportsmen are now in perfect shape, and we only hope for maximum result. Initially, it was planned to send Haykaz Samvelyan and Maxim Sahakyan for championship, but they received traumas and we had to cancel their participation,» Kagramyan said.



Armenian delegation will leave for Denmark on October 12. Return date is October 18.
