World Cup 2010 Qualifying stage: Turkey - Armenia - 2:0

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian national football team held its last meeting October 14 in the qualifying stage of World Cup 2010, and lost to Turkey with a score of 0:2.



Score was opened at 16th minute. One of the numerous attacks of the Turkish national team ended with a goal of the Turkish striker Halil Altintop. And at 28th minute after defender Servet Cetin's hitting the ball on the rebound was in the Armenian gate.

But after the Turkish players remained in minority, Armenian team managed to equalize the game and create several dangerous chances near the gate of Volkan Demirel, without kicking a goal and reducing the difference in the score.
