  U.S. calls on Turkey to refrain from flaring up tensionsOctober 17, 2009 - 19:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The United States called on Turkey to refrain from flaring up tensions in the region. U.S. said Turkey should show restraint in political debates on the international arena. Israeli-Turkish relations strained after Ankara cancelled Anatolian Eagle maneuvers, when Foreign Minister Davutoglu said the stumbling block was participation of Israeli aircrafts which "bombed Gaza civilians." For its part, Israeli MFA protested broadcast of a video propagandizing hatred and violence.
