Armenian sambo wrestlers won two bronze medals at the start of WC

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's youth and junior sambo teams had a successful start in World Championship taking place in Samakova, Bulgaria. On the first day of junior competitions, Tigran Kirakosyan (48 kg.) and Mher Karapetyan (75 kg.) won bronze medals.



Armen Adamyan (62 kg.) who represents Armenian in youth team received serious hand trauma and was thus disqualified from competitions, Armenian Sambo Federation reported to a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent.



On October 17, Aramayis Margaryan (52 kg.) and Artavazd Minasyan will represent Armenia in youth tournament; Ara Elibakyan (65 kg.) will participate in junior tournament.



Let's note that Armenia's youth and junior teams are represented by six sportsmen.
