Russia against drawing parallels between Balkans and Caucasus

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia is against drawing parallels between the developments in Balkans and Caucasus, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said when addressing the Serbian parliament.



"As to South Ossetia, our position is obvious and unambiguous. Russian Federation rebuffed a direct military aggression and its actions were completely in line with the UN Charter, specifically Resolution 1244," he said, kremlin.ru reported.
