Baku's political fate depends on Turkey's decision

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan will be the first to sense Armenia-Turkey rapprochement consequences. Baku's political fate depends on Turkey's decision, Manvel Sargsian , an expert at Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) said at a seminar in Yerevan.

According to him, Ankara's decision on protocols' ratification will influence new political configurations creation in the region. "Turkey's decision will also affect the situation with NKR issue. Should Turkish parliament ratify protocols, the configurations would differ from those formed in case Turkey sets Karabakh conflict as a key precondition for ratification," Manvel Sargsian emphasized, adding that, in any case, Turkey will have to face a serious choice.
