G20 Ministers decided to continue economic promotion program

PanARMENIAN.Net - Seven Finance Ministers representing G 20 countries met November 20 in St. Andrews, Scotland to have their summit. Leaders of world's biggest ecpnomies agreed not to cease economic promotion programs unless there is stability in global economic situation.



In their summary communiqué, Ministers stated that situation of world economy has started changing for better as a result of coordinated efforts towards combating crisis. According to document, all countries recover at equal paces, and there are special concern s over unemployment rate.



Representatives from U.S., Japan and Germany expressed doubts as to the expediency of furthering state injections into economy.



International Monetary Fund called on G20 not to refuse such measures.



Great Britain which is still facing recession also proposed that countries proceed with economic promotion programs.



In his speech, British Premier Gordon Brown announced that those involved in banking system should be more responsible to society. Brown made proposal for establishing which will assist banks facing problems, BBC reports.
