Armenian Sports Minister welcomes revival of Atis

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 19, Atis basketball team gained 103:99 victory over Chevakatu of Russia.



"Atis was one of the strongest basketball teams of USSR period. I warmly welcome the revival of Atis and believe the team will make us proud," RA Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Armen Grigoryan told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.





Also, the Minister reported that RA Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs in collaboration with Armenian Basketball Federation have developed several plans on basketball development in Armenia.
