Minister Nalbandian briefed on Karabakh settlement process to Lomberto DiniNovember 24, 2009 - 13:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Currently in Italy on a working visit, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Italian Senate Lamberto Dini to discuss Armenian-Italian cooperation, including collaboration between parliamentary friendship groups, and to exchange views on a number of regional and international problems.At Mr. Dini's request, the Armenian Minister briefed on Karabakh peace process. The lecture Minister Nalbanidian gave in the Italian Senate was attended by 300 people, including Senators, MPs, Ambassadors, scholars, expert group representatives and students. Introducing Armenia's foreign policy, Mr. Nalbandian touched upon Armenian-Italian ties, possibilities of developing bilateral relations, Armenia-EU cooperation and problems in the South Caucasian. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
