Neither Turkey nor Armenia in hurry to ratify protocols

PanARMENIAN.Net - Neither Turkey nor Armenia is in hurry to ratify protocols on normalization of relations between the two countries, Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reports.



Turkish opposition and Baku label the protocols as treason and urge to take Azerbaijan's interests into account. The Turkish government is embarrassed because of Azerbaijan's stormy reaction. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip has retreated: the border with Armenia will be opened only when Armenia make concessions on Karabakh, the article says.
