OSCE MG hopes for of Karabakh process activationMay 13, 2008 - 15:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The OSCE Minsk Group U.S. Co-chair Matthew Bryza said that the May 6 meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers proved that the Minsk process is advancing, especially after the presidential election in Armenia. "The mediators hope that the work at the base principles of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement will be accomplished during next several months," he said, the Azeri Press Agency reports. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. Partner news |
